Summary: A truly perfect stay at the Fairfield. You cannot fault this hotel and service, the reception staff were so friendly and go out of their way to help or provide advice. Location is about 5 mins drive out of Nikkō, so too far to walk from train station if you are considering. Room was modern and very comfortable, great a/c which is important in this hot summer climate. There are some food options available for sale at the hotel and a small kitchen area to heat food as well as a complimentary tea and coffee machine. Good self serve laundry area too. Ample free parking is available if you are hiring a car. Nikkō and the surrounding area are truly beautiful, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend this hotel as a great option.
